“Having this fuel trailer on the farm has increased our efficiency tenfold,” notes Laura Wilson of Laura Farms. “Before, we would either drive the combine tractors back to the farmyard every single morning and night to fill them up there, or we had a fuel trailer that truly was more of a fire hazard than a fuel trailer. Fuel Trailers Save Time

There’s always something to do on the farm, and much of it can’t wait. For Benson Keil of K&K Farms, a farm fuel trailer is a year-round workhorse that keeps his equipment on the job. “We run two combines. We run two four-wheel-drive tractors and three planter tractors. During the off-season, we do a lot of our own terrace and shaping work, so the fuel trailer is used in the wintertime to supply fuel for that operation as well.”

Wilson upgraded her trailer after a successful first year, and it took her only a few words to sum up the difference a Stellar Fuel Trailer has made for her operation. “We used to be a lot slower. A lot.”

Wilson appreciates how her fuel tank trailer not only keeps her equipment on the go, but has space for items that keep her on the go, too. “Our Stellar FuelMate trailer is completely spec’d out. It is outfitted with the 990-gallon diesel tank, and then we have a 100-gallon diesel exhaust fluid tank and an air compressor and reels. We have lots of different drawers, bins and storage compartments for tools. I’ve got wet wipes. I keep snacks and water bottles in there. It’s incredible.”

The time saved through onsite fueling is just one of the reasons a diesel fuel trailer is a perfect fit for K&K Farms. “We had certain needs we wanted in the trailer,” explains Keil. “Besides just diesel fuel and DEF, we wanted the ability to carry bulk hydraulic oil with an easy way to dispense it in case you blow a hydraulic hose out in the middle of the field and you need 15 gallons of oil in a hurry. We also wanted something with air and electricity along with plenty of storage for a complete set of hand tools and as well as impact wrenches and everything from tow ropes to paper towels. Stellar was able to put together exactly what we wanted.”
